3. Due to the insurance market in Florida, there have been a flurry of brand new companies up. American Traditions is one of them. They are brand new, which is why not hearing anything about them.

   They are NOT rated by AM Best (NR-5), and their reinsurance is Lloyds of London.

   If you have ANY other choice, I would go with the other choice – even if it costs more. It does NO GOOD at all to buy homeowners insurance, if the big hurricane comes through, and they have enough money to pay your claims.

   OH, they do say rated through Demotech. Every new Florida carrier is rated through Demotech. Although I looked at the financials for THIS company, the Demotech A rated companies I HAVE looked at, have enough reserves to pay off even 5% of their policyholders – so I give much credibility to Demotech ratings.

5. The BBB is a that is set up to be a symbol of a quality business, similar to the "Made With Real Milk" symbol. It is not a government agency. The most they can do (if it really was them – my thoughts is that it was actually just the guy you made angry wanting some of revenge – ) is either remove the company from the BBB list (which means your company can no longer fly the BBB logo or the prestige(?) it provides. The BBB might also put a poor rating on the business but that usually takes a lot of calls and if you were within your guildlines, then sure your company has it figured out correctly. Let us know if they do show up to "talk".

   Assuming they have and it being such a strange problem, wondering if your laptop is overheating and causing this issue as a side-effect (of which there can be many if there is overheating going on.)

   The first check of this is to raise the laptop off the surface it usually sits. Try cutting a large pencil eraser into four placing the bits under each corner. This will allow air to circulate under the laptop, cooling it down, while still allowing you to have a firm typing surface.
